John Cena describes his role as a merman in the movie Barbie as a happy accident

John Cena isn’t just essential for the cast of Quick X yet he will likewise be showing up in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie as a merman.

The former WWE star appeared on The Today Show, where he discussed his casting in the Mattel doll movie.

It was a happy accident, and Barbie and Fast X have a lot in common, in my opinion. The cast list is astounding, the Barbie cast list is astonishing, the Quick X cast list is astonishing,” he told Hoda Kotb during a meeting on the NBC morning show. “ As a result, there was a chance to say, “Hey, would you guys be willing to have me if I could do something?’” given the abundance of opportunities.

Cena revealed to Kotb that he “kind of” pitched himself for the role in “an accidental run-in with Margot Robbie,” stating, “I would do, pretty much whatever you guys need ’cause I really enjoy the movie and they asked me if I wanted to be a merman.” More Read
